Happy New Year!

No, we have not lost our marbles, we know it's not January 1st, but in Rotary clubs around the world, July 1st signifies the start of a new Rotary year.

For our club, that means we work on new projects, new plans, new focus with new leaders for our club and district.

We thank outgoing District Governor Donna Deos and welcome incoming DG Ruth Clough.  DG Donna was a great supporter of our club, and we know DG Ruth will be, too.  Come meet her on July 21st as she comes to visit us and set her agenda.

We recognize our own Robbie Grady who served 4 years as our Assistant District Governor for our club. Robbie made friends in each of her area clubs: Henniker, Hopkinton, Hooksett, Bow, Capital City Sunrise, and of course, our own club.  Robbie's successor is Matt Gatzke of the Bow Club and we have already met him as he helped our Car Show team on both set-up and day-of.  Welcome, Matt!

Last, we give our sincere thanks to our now-former president, Kevin Grady. Kevin stepped up as president for two years, and we thank him for his leadership. We know he is ready to step down and focus on his other volunteer activities with veterans here in NH, and we appreciate all he helped us accomplish.

Our incoming president is no stranger to the role: Robbie Grady has served our club before as secretary, foundation chair, and twice as president. She was ready to turn over the AG job (often mentioned as the "best job in Rotary") to take the reins again of our club. We're ready to take the next step alongside her to lead our club to Create Lasting Impact in our communities.

Happy New Year! We're excited, and hope you are, too!
THANK YOU!

Thank you to everyone who supported our 13th Annual Car Show -- the sponsors, the raffle donors, the food trucks, the town of Goffstown, our volunteers, our spectators, and above all, the Car and Truck owners who came out for a wonderful day of friendship and friendly competition!

Each of these wonderful groups provides services throughout our area, and each will use the funds to combat food insecurity or loneliness, promote health, take care of animals, and more. We are proud to partner with each of them, but we could not do it without YOU, our supporters, donors, and friends.  Thank you all!
Congratulations to our two raffle prize winners: Peter and Chris! And, THANK YOU to everyone who bought (and sold!) tickets. The proceeds fund our scholarships to two area graduating seniors.
We ain't afraid of no ghosts! Thanks to all of our happy haunters who came out for Halloween on Main Street!

Thanks to a grant from Rotary District 7870, we are able to fill the flower barrels in Weare's town center. Pictured is a volunteer who joined us all the way from Texas during our fall planting. Hope you enjoyed the blooms!

Always a happy day when we can welcome new members!  L to R: President Kevin Grady, Laura Gilman-Boutot, and Jenni Share. So glad to have you on board!

Car Show WOW!

Thanks to the 167 car owners and many friends who came out to our Car Show, we can certainly claim success!

After having to postpone our originally scheduled show, we were concerned you might not come out later in the year, but you did, and we're thrilled. We hope you enjoyed your time out on the field with us.

Special thanks to our lead sponsor, TMS Diesel; our gold level sponsors: Deb Chabot State Farm and Bonacorsi Financial Management; and all of our other sponsors and raffle donors. We are still tallying the results, but we should have a good amount for our community grants program.

Thank you ALL for coming out!

National Night Out a HUGE Success!

Every August, the Goffstown PD invites other law enforcement agencies, non-profits, and local businesses to National Night Out. This event draws thousands of people each year, and this year was no different. Kudos to Sergeant Jacqueline Pelletier for her work coordinating a great night out.

For our part, we grilled hotdogs, 374 to be exact, and we had fun doing it!  Hope you had fun, too!

So thankful for our partnership with Hannaford which allowed us to bring much-needed food and funds to local food pantries.  And, we appreciate their support with their community recyclable bags program as well. We are lucky to have such great partners!

Nothing like Goffstown's Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off and Regatta for loads of fun! Loads of work, but always a great time! Thank you Goffstown Main Street Program for a great event. Thank you, community members for purchasing lots of burgers, dogs, and OF COURSE, our signature dish: grilled bologna!

Planting day in Weare! Thanks to a grant from Rotary District 7870, we plant seasonal flowers in the barrels in Weare.

Happy to support our neighbors in Dunbarton, too!
